Silveraurora SB Xplicit

DOB:  2/9/07

3/2/10:  Tested for CAE - results negative

2010 LA:  90 Excellent EEEV!!!

2008 LA: 84 VEEA (first freshener)

Xplicit's dam, Rosasharn's B'Umble Bee, is a daughter of Rosasharn's Honey Bee.  Honey Bee is the daughter of Buckwheat Honey - who has been in the Top Ten for 305 milk production with AGS.  In addition, Buckwheat Honey was the AGS 2007 National Champion Senior Doe and AGS 2007 Best Udder winner!

Xplicit travels with a level topline, straight legs, and is a flashy mover.  We expect great things with the genetics behind her.  Thanks Suzanne!

News Flash!  Xplicit's sire, Sebastian, now has his +B status with ADGA as he is the sire of 3 different Dairy Star daughters out of 3 different dams!  Sebastian is also the full older brother to Twin Creeks WB Rain Beau and full littermate brother to Twin Creeks WB Bavarian Rain.  These genetics can be found up close in the pedigrees of Violette, Xplicit, Little Voice, Masquerade, and Tempo.

As noted by the appraiser at my 2008 Linear Appraisal, Xplicit not only has a beautiful dairy body but she also has the pretty dairy head I wish to breed for.

At my 2010 Linear Appraisal, Xplicit scored Excellent on her rump (not an easy thing for a Nigerian Dwarf goat to do)!

Update:   Xplicit's sire Sebastian is now an ARMCH (AR Herd Sire)!

07/30/09:  Xplicit attended the Northern St. Louis County Fair and took home Grand Champion Senior Nigerian Dwarf Doe, Best Doe In Show (all breeds), and Best Udder In Show (all breeds), as well as being part of the 1st Place Dairy Herd (all breeds)!  We are so proud of her.  This is not a sanctioned show yet but there were enough Nigerian breeders attending that we hope to get it sanctioned in the near future.

Dancing Angels Little Voice

DOB: 3/18/2005

3/2/10:  Tested for CAE - results negative

2010 LA:  90 EEEV!!! Permanent score (I foolishly left her kids on her and weaned them individually as they sold so her capacity had decreased by the time appraisal came around.  I have no doubt she could have had an E in Mammary also).

Dancing Angels Little Voice

This beautiful doe arrived here in May 2008.  Her sire is Twin Creeks WB Rain Beau *S and her dam, Sugar Creek PT Show Girl, is full littermate sister to ARMCH/GCH Sugarcreek PT Show Tunes *M.  Little Voice is refined, level, long, and dairy, and according to Meghan, practically shows herself!  We also purchased her daughter Masquerade, sired by CH/GCH Dancing Angels Cool Your Jets.  Thanks Meghan for parting with her!

LV freshened for the fourth time on 3/15/10 with beautiful triplet does sired by Tempo and a gorgeous udder!  Her previous udders have been very nice but her capacity greatly increased with this freshening.  She has very nice attachments, good teats, and a nice smooth fore udder.  Udder pictures below were taken at 1 week fresh and she is not fully bagged as her triplets are nursing on her!

Dancing Angels Masquerade

DOB:  5/17/07

2010 LA:  89 VEEV

LV's daughter Masquerade

This beautiful black & white doe is very dairy, long and has a beautifully attached udder.  She is exactly the leggy, dairy type of doe I am looking to reproduce.   She arrived in here in May 2008, along with her dam, Dancing Angels Little Voice.

As a third freshener, Masquerade has really blossomed and she is now one of my most productive does.  Her udder has very nice texture and is incredibly easy to milk.

This beautiful chamoisee doe arrived October 5, 2007 along with her half sister out of Starfire.  She has an awesome pedigree!  Check it out here:  Windy's Pedigree

Awards!

6/15/08:  Windy went to her first show in June.  It was a Nigerian Dwarf Specialty Show held in Marshfield, Wisconsin.  She won Junior Grand Champion under judge Emily Thompson!

Windy freshened on 3/12/09 with beautiful twin does sired by Troubadour and we have retained one.  See Breezy on the Junior Doe page.

Windy and Feisty's grandsire, ARMCH Lost Valley Tae-Bo, is the 2009 AGS National Champion Buck!  Congratulations Audrey and Amy!

7/30/09:  At the Northern St. Louis County Fair, her only show of the year, Windy took 1st place milker in the 1 - 2 year-old Nigerian Dwarf class and was part of the 1st place dairy herd (along with Xplicit, Cinnamon, and Fire N Ice), beating out all the standard sized girls!

I picked up this beautiful, very dairy doe over Labor Day weekend last year along with a couple of additional Sugar Creek doelings.  She is everything I hoped she would be!  She earned her first AGS leg by winning Reserve Champion at the MDGS Youth Show.  She is a relatively small doe and has very nice length of body and rump, as well as great attachments.  Thank you Cheryl!

Cinnamon After First Freshening

Cinnamon pictured as a yearling in the photo on the left and as a 2nd freshener at the 2009 St. Louis County Fair in the center and on the right.

Cinnamon Girl, a Kingwood granddaughter, freshened 6/24/08 with a single buck kid sired by Tempo.  Her first freshening udder is lovely and her teats are plumb but ideally could be a little longer.  She is very easy to milk with open orifices.  She is just looking better and better as she matures.  Cinnamon's sire was the 2006 ANDDA All-American 2-Year-Old Grand Champion!

Cinnamon is very dairy doe with a pretty dairy body and head.  I would be remiss if I didn't add that she does elbow out.

Update:  Cinnamon kidded easily with buck/doe twins sired by Megapixel on 5/2/09.  Both kids are black with white spotting and very long and dairy.  See her doe kid, Domino, on our Junior Doe page.

07/30/09:  Cinnamon attended the Northern St. Louis County Fair and was a member of the 1st Place Dairy Herd.

MI Sugarcreek FR Wanda

DOB:  2/10/06

3/2/10:  Tested for CAE - results negative

2010 LA: NIC (not in condition - she had gotten uneven with a single kid nursing & was dried off early).

All photos courtesy of Lance Krog at Avian Acres

Wanda has a very capacious udder and wonderful large teats, although the placement of her teats could be better.  She has excellent rib spacing and loose dairy skin but is somewhat shy and tends to squat when touched so it is difficult to get a good photo of her.  She has been bred to NC PromiseLand RC Obama *S for March 2010 kids.

The photo above shows the rear udder of Wanda's dam, WGF Sally 2*D AR1545.

The above photo shows an unclipped Wanda at our farm on 11/15/09.
