Does for Sale

Pixie won a 4th place ribbon at her very first show in a large class with stiff competition. She took 1st place junior doe at the St. Louis County Fair that we just attended. She is a long-bodied doe with a very level top line and her conformation is an improvement over her dams. She is very unhappy about having to stand still for her photo. Sold - Thanks Karen & Rich!

Wethers For Sale
Sorry, All sold out for 2008
A $100 non-refundable deposit will hold your already born kid for one month while shipping arrangements and payments are worked out. At this time we are not taking deposits for unborn kids but if you have an interest in a particular breeding, please let me know and I will notify you when kids are born prior to posting them for sale. Note: All bucklings born in the remainder of 2008 and in 2009 will be neutered at 6 - 8 weeks of age unless reserved ahead of time.
We mainly use Northwest Airlines but can use any airline that flies into the Duluth, Minnesota airport. You would pick up your goats the same day at the time specified. Kids are shipped in dog kennels and travel very well. We have had many of our goats flown in from Texas, New Mexico, New Hampshire, and Alaska. If necessary, kids can fly out of the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport on other airlines but since this is a 9-hr. round trip for me, I would need to charge $75.00 for gas.
The most common cost for us has been around $200 - $250 for the flight, paid COD when you pick your kid/kids up at the airport if Northwest Airlines is used. This would be for a 200 size kennel, which costs about $45. Two babies can fly together for about the same shipping cost as one. This applies to just weaned kids, not older animals which must be shipped separately.
All goats need a health certificate to fly which costs about $25 plus additional costs if your state requires more tests.
Buyers are required to pay in full for the goats, kennel, and vet health
certificate before we will ship.
Although it is a three-hour roundtrip drive to the airport, we do not charge for
gas to and from the Duluth airport or to the vet.
Kids can also be delivered free of charge to any shows we are attending. We also offer free delivery within a 100 mile radius of our farm. We do charge a nominal fee to deliver beyond this radius. Please check with us for details if you are interested in this arrangement.
Kids sold out of first-freshening does will be $300 - $350. Buck kids will be sold out of first-freshening does only if the dam meets our high expectations for general appearance as well as mammary system.
Kids sold out of mature does will be $350 and up.
Wethers will sell for $50 each. They make great companions for bucks and can be registered and shown also. We do give a 20% discount to 4H kids on wethers.
Discounts available on multiple kid/adult purchases. Email for more information.
All kids come with their health
certificates, including the results of any additional testing required by you or
your state. You will also receive registration applications and transfers
for both AGS and ADGA.
All animals are guaranteed healthy and free of disqualifying faults when they leave our farm. Since we cannot control any stress that may occur as the result of shipping, or the animals care or environment once it leaves our farm, we cannot offer any further guarantees.
