TX Twin Creeks ADG Aria

DOB:  2/2/07

Aria is a light buckskin yearling doe that freshened for the first time with triplets in March '08.  She easily provided for them with milk to spare.  She has the wonderful dairy character I strive for in my herd but her teat placement needs improvement.  Her strengths in my 2008 Linear Appraisal were her shoulder assembly, body, and dairy character.  Her dam Sarafina was appraised EEEE FS 92 Excellent in 2009!

Aria has gone to live at my good friend Kristin's but returned to be bred to Shazam and I got a beautiful doe kid back.

Prairie Wood PB Honey

DOB:  5/5/06

Honey munching on hay

Honey has a very nice udder with good-sized, plumb teats but is a little shorter bodied than I would like.  She also has a nice medial ligament.  The photo below is of Honey's udder just prior to her first freshening.  Honey was bred to Tempo for spring 2009 kids and kidded with very long, dairy buck/doe twins.  I really needed to keep my numbers in check so Honey has been sold but I retained her beautiful doe kid, Honeydew.

MI Sugar Creek TS Virtuous

DOB: 5/4/05

Sugar Creek Virtuous

Virtue is a very dairy doe.  She milks so easily and has the most incredible feel to her udder.  Virtue's dam, Patience, was the 2006 AGS National Best Udder in Breed!

Virtue has gone to live at my good friend Kristin's.

Piddlin Acres V RickyJoleen

DOB:  2/21/07

RickyJoleen in her summer clip

Thank you Valerie for this small, stylish, and sharp dairy kid.  She is a wonderful addition to our herd.  She won Reserve Grand Champion Junior Doe at the St. Louis County Fair.

Update:  JoJo (her new name) has been sold to Jean Jasinsky on breeder's terms.  I still haven't figured out how she talked me out of one of my favorite girls!  Anyway, she is going to a wonderful home and Jean has given me visitation rights☺.

See the beautiful doeling I got back, Suzy Q, on the Junior Does page.
