2010 LA: 90 EEEV!!! Permanent score (I foolishly left her kids on her and weaned them individually as they sold so her capacity had decreased by the time appraisal came around. I have no doubt she could have had an E in Mammary also).

This beautiful doe arrived here in May 2008. Her sire is Twin Creeks WB Rain Beau *S and her dam, Sugar Creek PT Show Girl, is full littermate sister to ARMCH/GCH Sugarcreek PT Show Tunes *M. Little Voice is refined, level, long, and dairy, and according to Meghan, practically shows herself! We also purchased her daughter Masquerade, sired by CH/GCH Dancing Angels Cool Your Jets. Thanks Meghan for parting with her!
LV freshened for the fourth time on 3/15/10 with beautiful triplet does sired by Tempo and a gorgeous udder! Her previous udders have been very nice but her capacity greatly increased with this freshening. She has very nice attachments, good teats, and a nice smooth fore udder. Udder pictures below were taken at 1 week fresh and she is not fully bagged as her triplets are nursing on her!
Color/Pattern Genetics:
LV is a brown and black buckskin, heavily overlaid with white. Her daughter Masquerade is proof she also carries the allele for black. She is being bred to Megapixel for spring 2011 kids. Megapixel is also a brown and black buckskin broken with white. Megapixel's littermate sister is black so I figured he might also carry the black allele. Megapixel's kids out of Cinnamon in 2009, Domino and her twin brother Echo, were both black and white proving he did indeed carry the black allele. 2011 kids should thus be either black and white or buckskin with white. Update: 2011 kids were buckskin and buckskin heavily overlaid with white.
Pictured above is the pre-first freshening udder of LV's daughter Shere Country TR Lilly White, who is due any day now (1/7/12). Her sire was TX Twincreeks CAS Troubadour. Lilly is owned by my friend Beth Keene at My Own Private Idaho Farm and has graciously allowed me to use her photo with the promise that I will post a better one when she gets a chance to take another.
