This spotted buckskin doeling is line bred on Penny Pincher. Her dam is an extremely dairy Show Tunes daughter with a very nice first freshening udder. With all the fabulous udders in her background I have high expectations for her and can hardly wait until I can pick her up over Labor Day weekend!
Well, she is finally home and what a little beauty she is! She is a very refined and dairy doeling and looks to be staying on the small side.

This beautiful cou clair doeling also arrived home yesterday along with the doeling above. I can hardly wait to get her into the show ring! She isn't very happy about having her picture taken today so we will have to work on that.

I can't believe my luck in being able to purchase this beautiful, well-bred doe, with her sire being the 2008 AGS National Reserve Grand Champion Buck and her dam being the 2008 AGS National Grand Champion Sr. Doe! Thank you so much Audrey & Amy. She is a gorgeous light red, just like her sire. She is a little shy yet and wasn't too happy to pose for her picture. This beautiful chamoisee doe arrived October 5, 2007 along with her half sister out of Starfire. She has an awesome pedigree!
6/15/08: Windy went to her first show in June. It was a Nigerian Dwarf Specialty Show held in Marshfield, Wisconsin. She won Junior Grand Champion under judge Emily Thompson! Look for her photo soon in the ANDDA newsletter.

Kellye just informed me that Starfire, Fire N Ice's (or Feisty as we call her) dam, went to her first show as a first freshener and won her yearling milker class under both judges! Starfire received compliments from the judges on her dairy character, correctness, and balance of her udder. We look forward to great things from this little girl.
6/14/08: Well, Feisty certainly didn't disappoint. She attended her first and only 2008 show, the Northern Lights Dairy Goat Association's Summer Show, and proceeded to win Junior Grand Champion under judge Jennifer Lohman-Peterson! The judge referred to her as "that bratty Nigerian" and complimented her on her dairy character, front end assembly, and feminine look.

Juno is a half-sister to our very dairy buck Tempo. She will be coming home in a month or so, after she is bred to TX Twincreeks WDF Megapixel (MCH/GCH Twin Creeks WB Madam Butterfly 2*D x MCH Pecan Hollow Willy's Dance Fever *S). Juno's granddam, Temperance, just won her last leg and her GCH is pending. Congratulations Lance!
