This is my newest herd sire. He just arrived here on 7/1/08 and is 4 months old in the photo above. He is from the Rosasharn farm and has quite the fine pedigree. His maternal grand dam was the 2005 AGS National Best Udder doe! Shazam's dam just recently won her second leg and Anne expects her to be finished either this fall or next summer. Thank you Anne!

Indy, as he is called, arrived at his new home on 11/4/07 and will be put to work soon! I couldn't resist this handsome proven buck who is white with gold spots. He finished his championships in both AGS & ADGA this year. The kids he produced at his prior home have been exceptional.
11/15/08: Indy is currently in the breeding pen with Sheyanne, Terabithia, and Andie but will be going to his new home with Beth Keene at My Own Private Idaho Farm in Illinois shortly. Thanks Beth! May he produce many nice kids for you.

The above photo show an overconditioned Tempo. I fed him well over the winter as I figured he had lots of ladies to breed. Little did I realize at the time but Troubadour had already taken care of them so Tempo got to just hang out and relax with the girls for two months without having to earn his keep! Oh well, he will get his opportunity this fall.
Pictured above is South Campus Temperance, Tempo's Grand Dam on both sides. Photo of Temperance is courtesy of Debbie Newsam, Whispering Woods Farm.

Tempo is a red gold & white buck with an excellent show and milk background and a very laid back personality.

Tempo earned his first leg toward MCH at the Northern Lights Dairy Goat Association Show in Marshfield, Wisconsin in June 2007 under judge Matt Casselman! He won over some very outstanding bucks.
On June 14, 2008 Tempo won his second championship leg, winning Reserve Champion under judge Jennifer Lohman-Peterson at the Nigerian Dwarf Specialty Show held in Marshfield, Wisconsin.

We have anxiously awaited the arrival of this flashy buckskin Kingwood son and he certainly was worth the wait. Thanks Audrey & Amy! His litter mate brother, Pegasus, was retained by Lost Valley as a herd sire. His older brother Lost Valley KW Orion *S is 1 leg away from his MCH and Orion's sister Lost Valley KW Casseopeia already has her junior leg. You can see an Orion daughter on our Junior Does page. Hopefully Madison will pick up her last leg this coming show season and follow in both her sire & dam's hoofsteps.
News Flash! Madison finished her championship at the Houston Livestock Show and Orion won his Master Championship on 6/2/2007!
Our sympathies to Amy & Audrey at Lost Valley Nigerians on the loss of Kingwood on May 20th, 2007. He was one of the most influential bucks in the history of the Nigerian Dwarf breed and will be greatly missed.

Excaliber took 1st in Senior Yearling Bucks in the second show at the Northern Lights Dairy Goat Association's Summer Show in Marshfield, Wisconsin on June 14, 2008 and went on to win Reserve Champion under judge Emily Thompson, earning his first championship leg. Excaliber & Tempo will have their photos in the upcoming ANDDA newsletter as their wins were in a Nigerian Dwarf Specialty Show. See www.andda.org.
MCH Lost Valley Callisto, Excaliber's granddam, just became the 2008 AGS National Grand Champion Senior Doe! Congratulations Amy and Audrey!

We patiently awaited the arrival of the exciting young herd sire pictured above. He is a very stylish young buck and appears to be staying on the small side. Xplorer's dam, Desert Nanny's Tequila Sunrise (out of Sebastian's full sister), was Grand Champion Junior Doe at the 2006 Alaska State Fair. Xplorer is long and very much like his AGS/ADGA dual champion sire, MCH CH Twin Creeks WB Sebastian Bach *S.
News Flash! Xplorer's sire, Sebastian now has his +B status with ADGA as he is the sire of 3 different Dairy Star daughters out of 3 different dams!
