This beautiful black & white yearling first freshener is very dairy and long and freshened with a beautifully attached udder. She is exactly the leggy, dairy type of doe I am looking to reproduce. Her teats are a little small but she is still incredibly easy to milk. She arrived in May, along with her dam, Dancing Angels Little Voice, who is shown on our Senior Does page.
Masquerade couldn't be appraised this year as her ADGA paperwork hadn't arrived yet but I have high expectations for her next year.

Aria is a light buckskin yearling doe that freshened for the first time with triplets in March '08. She easily provided for them with milk to spare. She has the wonderful dairy character I strive for in my herd but her teats do point forward, which does nothing for a smooth fore udder so I will choose a buck to breed her to that will maintain her wonderful dairy qualities and improve her teat placement. Her strengths in my 2008 Linear Appraisal were her shoulder assembly, body, and dairy character. I will also try to breed for a prettier head.

Xplicit's dam, Rosasharn's B'Umble Bee, is a daughter of Rosasharn's Honey Bee. Honey Bee is the daughter of Buckwheat Honey - who is in the Top Ten for 305 milk production with AGS this year. In addition, Buckwheat Honey is the AGS 2007 National Champion Senior Doe and AGS 2007 Best Udder winner!
Xplicit travels with a level topline, straight legs, and is a flashy mover. We expect great things with the genetics behind her. Thanks Suzanne!
Xplicit kidded easily on 3/28/08 with lovely buck/doe twins sired by Excaliber.
As noted by the appraiser at my 2008 Linear Appraisal, Xplicit not only has a beautiful dairy body but she also has the pretty dairy head I wish to breed for. I can hardly wait to see how see appraises next year.

Cinnamon Girl, a Kingwood granddaughter, freshened 6/24/08 with a single buck kid sired by Tempo. Her first freshening udder is lovely and her teats are plumb but ideally could be a little longer. She is very easy to milk with open orifices. She is just looking better and better as she matures. Cinnamon's sire was the 2006 ANDDA All-American 2-Year-Old Grand Champion!
Cinnamon is another very dairy doe with a pretty dairy body and head. If I could improve anything, I would give her tighter shoulders.

Teri is long and stretchy, with a beautiful top line and loads of general appearance that her dam is strong for. She passed on her friendly personality to both of her kids. She took to the milkstand like she had been doing it for years and is very easy to milk. Thanks Valerie! See her first freshening udder photos below.

According to Lora at Prairie Wood Ranch, Honey's dam, Nugget, is their best kid-producing doe, having kidded with quads for each of her last five freshenings! Honey's sire, Prairie Wood Pinnacle Blues just won his AGS master championship on 3/31/07. Congratulations Lora!
Honey kidded 3/16/08 with a capacious udder with a very nice medial. If I could improve one thing, I would give her a smoother fore udder. Click the thumbnail photo below to see a picture of Honey's udder just prior to kidding.

Beyonce is a blue-eyed daughter out of Gay-Mor's Blue Looney Meg Ryan. Meg is sundgau (black with cream trim) and is very dairy, long bodied, and has great width and depth. Debbie has agreed to sell her to me so she will be staying here permanently. Thanks Debbie!
Beyonce kidded on April 25th with buck/doe twins and a beautiful first-freshening udder.
Beyonce has been sold on breeder's terms and will be going to live at her wonderful new home with Karen & Rich along with Pixie.
